About Matt Cook

Matt Cook is the Court’s Adult Probation Officer. He supervises all adult felony offenders placed on community control by the Court. He is an alumnus of Crooksville High School and Wilmington College earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He obtained O.P.O.T.A. certification from Muskingum Tech in 1992 graduating 1st in his class. Mr. Cook began his career as a probation officer in Perry County. Between 1995 and 2022 he was employed by Ohio’s Adult Parole Authority (APA) as a Probation Officer. In 2022 Matt was hired by Judge Wells to stand up and operate Morgan County’s newly formed adult probation department.
